Everyone has his own definition of lamb, such as the one given above. I am trying to find the legal definition, if there is one, both in Canada, and the U. S. A.

Here in Alberta, we have what we call spring lamb- born in early spring, killed in about October, thus about 7 months on the average. But what are the government regulations?
