Well, that's not the first old film I never heard of, but Micca, if I had heard of it, I do hope I might've gotten the punny joke. All's well that ends well...

Kat, I graduated high school in 1959. I'd just heard Bob Gibson and Lord Buckley and Pete Seeger and the New Lost City Ramblers and Odetta and Joan Baez for the first time. And I'd just learned how truly transporting and time-machine-like the old trad story ballads could be. I was eighteen---and in love. It was a very good year!--- A whole lot like this 65th year will be, I'm certain;---filled with Mudcatters and their music, and all the sounds I've stored in my mind since those other times.

Thanks to all you cyberfolk here who keep my mind nimble and participating in our music world. You are truly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Art
