Well I reckon if you catch one you should punish it big time as a warning to the others. I once saw a farm gate post with 6 moles hung up on a string. Mind you, I don't know if any of the remaining moles were looking up at about human head height!

My uncle Mort always reckoned that moles deserved the most horrific death he could imagine. He buried them alive...
