Seems to work OK. Dougie was a friend of mine at school. He used to have the gold disc for the music on display when he owned the "Taybank" hotel in Dunkeld. I'd always thought that "The Gael" was taken from his "Search" recording, which was instrumental music for an exhibition about the Loch Ness Monster, and that it was Dougie himself playing the piece. I see that one of Phil Cunningham's tunes, "The House In Rose Valley" also appeared in the film. Was that played on fiddle? If it was , then that was most likely Alistair Fraser. I also knew Alistair from when he was working in Aberdeen , before he was a full-time fiddler. He's back here in 2 weeks time for the NAFCO fiddle festival. I'll ask him when I see him.
