Mansfield PA annual event last weekend in September:

The Fabulous 1890's Weekend, Friday and Saturday, September 29-30, 2006 at Smythe Park in the town center.

The weekend revolves around the fact that the world's first night football game was played here on September 28, 1892. Strolling banjo players, bands, games and other family entertainment create a leisurely, fun day as you experience the color and friendliness of Mansfield in the 1890's. String bands and other live groups provide upbeat music throughout the day.
