So far as I've heard, the average "event" is about the same for Chimps and Bonobos - around 8 seconds - and the frequency is quite similar - a few dozen times daily. The more matriarchal influence in Bonobos seems mostly associated "other social graces," so the most likely result would be limited to an easier acceptance of things like bathing, dressing, going out for ... etc. Maybe the hybrid would let her have the remote, and get his own beer occasionally. (?)
