Hey, I think my Dad had some USMC boots made with Gore-Tex, whatever it is! No, the best strings in the world are Martin Silk & Steel--around here they're real cheap because they're not in demand. But my world-class guitar teacher LOVED them, and so do I. Mmm...mmm...like butta!
