It was released by a group called "America" in 1972. It became a hit and was played 763 times a day on every radio station in Montreal where I was living at the time. While sitting one afternoon I lost it and unplugged the radio. I took it out back and hit it many times with a brick all the while using bad words in three languages. I did not get another radio for about a year. By then, the song wasn't playing anymore. It's the only song that ever made me react like that.
