Fairly simple question - is there anywhere where acoustic music / Folk ,is played where I might join in, as I would like to bring my guitar to Oslo where I am presently working, but not sure whether its worth the trouble.
It's not only Oslo , but also (pardon pun) our own towns and cities in the U.K. , in that , if there were a regular session going on somewhere, they wouldn't advertise in the normal newspaper or entertainment guide , it's either not cost-effective , or , people like to keep to the sessions to themselves, based on the notion , that , if you are REALLY interested you'll find out for yourself , one way or another.
Writing to Mudcat is hopefully both, one way or another.
