Is it me?
Sign on the pitcher of organic lemonade says "$2.25 per glass, no refills". There are glasses right next to the sign. So, the man says, "Oh, '$2.25, no refills', how does that work?"

....sigh. Our very kind and patient cashier explained, "You fill a glass, and it costs $2.25. If you fill your glass again, it costs $2.25 again."

So your cashier doesn't understand the word "refill", as distinct from "free refill"?
