I must be getting old.

My current thinking:

I am a musical snob and I don't have a problem with that.

I no longer feel the need to have my musical preferences validated by other people. I am not a salesman for the music I love.

My only job is to play music that I love.

I am a pure amateur and I have decided that is a good thing.

I was part of one revival and I think we succeeded.

Whether the music I love survives my death is not my problem.

At the end of the day the music has to speak for itself and stand on its own two feet. It survives or doesn't. Yawn.
