I went to a bagel place and bought two plain bagels at a total cost of $1.30. I gave the cashier $2.00. He hit $25.00 rather than $2.00 for amount tendered and proceeded to try to give me $23.70 change. I tried to explain what had happened but he did not understand. He had to call the manager. This really happened and it made me feel sad, not superior.
