I'm so sorry to hear your Shadow has gone, it's one of the hardest decisions that Cat Staff have to make, but ultimately, it's the right one.
My Shadow tabby is draped across the kitchen stepstool at the moment, being tormented by black kitty Raven who pokes his paw up through the steps, so his spirit lives on, even if it is divided between other kitties.
