The main difference between the harpsichord and the piano is the way the notes are sounded, please correct me if Iam wrong. Onthe piano the inside mechanism strings are struck and on a harpsichord they are plucked, you will get more variation of dynamics on a pianoforte, but you are still able to get a bit on a harpsichord just try playing the left quieter than the right and your there.now back to concertinas.Iagree with Ralphie, If Iwas starting again Iwould seriously consider a Duet.
