Glad you got some time to explore Victoria. We also enjoyed the "human scale" of this port city, and the added benefit of spectacular sunsets, song circles, and interesting architecture. And it was so nice to raise a glass to C. Fox Smith at one of her favorite hangouts, McQuade's Ship Chandlery Shop at 1250 Wharf St., now occupied by the famed Chandlers Sea Food Restaurant.
