Charley, what a lovely verse! I forgot a couple of things. Just as our cruise ship was pulling away from the dock in Vancouver at the start of the voyage, Our Captain announced in his Irish accent that "we are now leaving Vancouver, on our way to the Inside Passage and Alaska....rhubarb rhubarb......and here is some music to send us on our way" and through the PA system came Johnny Horton singing "North to Alaska"! (guess who was singing along) Our Captain has a sense of humour, it was his first voyage on the Sapphire Princess and our son said the music hadn't been played before.

And of all the wildlife we saw, the most fearsome was the Tour Group, sub species Americanus, closely followed by sub species Australis. Something to be avoided at all costs.
