just to echo what another great weekend it was. We had some great singarounds in the con club..and the Delph Donkey has a real kick!!! thanks to everyone who took part...apologies to those we couldn't fit in to the maritime set... but it was great that there were so many we couldn't fit them all in (if you know what I mean) Again the young performers (and youth certainly does not mean lack of quality) proved that , in spite of what some people would have us believe , folk music is not in its death throes. We will certainly be hearing a lot more of Jim Molyneux and Trasna (With that amount of talent already think what's to come in the future!). Uiscedwr almost literally went into meltdown in the overpowering heat to deliver a storming set in the Commercial.
