As for Roberto's point ("when the bombs began to fall...not "when the rockets began to be fired")- in this case the bombs actually started falling on Lebanon before Hezbollah started launching rockets in reprisal. (And pointing out that doesn't imply I think that kind of reprisal was any more justifiable than the bombing.)
