My mother stays at Sidholme when she goes to Sidmouth for her hols (usually September). I understand that it used to be a Methodist Holiday Guild establishment. mum tells me that it is a quiet relaxing sort of place which perhaps reflects management policy - Quiet few days by the sea for pensioners.

It is perhaps understandable why they don't feel they can open thier premises to the festival.

Steve as far as I can see there sre only two venues that are out of town and I dont see why this is a problem to you - Don't you live outside Sidders anyway (quite close to the aforementioned two venues).

My bags are packed and I pick up the hire car this evening and will be in Sidders tomorrow afternoon.
