The Arran Folk Festival died years ago. There is still music and craic here and there. Aly Bain's coming soon. Google and word of mouth will tell you more than the tourist board.

And are there any who'd like to form a jug band? Jazz Gillum, Noah Lewis, Yank Rachell types most welcome. I've got a one-off line-up for a birthday gig, using the name Midge Coil and the Repellents, and I'd like to get a steady band going again. Names such as Jug Squad spring to mind.
