The young man who died was at his first folk festival as far as I know.He died on friday eveningafter being kept in a coma for a few days after the event. When he came/was brought round he was found to have very severe brain damage and he passed away peacefully.
My thoughts go to his family and friends that such a tragedy should happen.
To the young man who gave mouth to mouth at the time and thought the worst on Saturday afternoon, sorry that your efforts ultimately proved to be in vain.You did your best but sadly eventually nature took its course.
The funeral has yet to be arranged.






He was not a steward at the festival nor was he a former dancer with Grimsby Morris.
The other 2 people who were injured are both at home with only superficial injuries.
Note only 3 people in total were hurt not 4 as has been mentioned.
