My little Squeak was bailed out of the pound yesterday - a 50km round trip - they wanted to charge me $25 for the privilege of the round trip and retrieving a micro-chipped pet that a neighbour had allegedly caught 'in a personal cat trap'. I suspected the mad lady next door, but was assured that 'she was caught 10 houses away'!

Means if she was not chased by a dog, then some kid must have picked her up and taken her home. She won't normally travel far - won't go out the front because of the traffic, won't normally go into the back yard cause of the dogs on the other side of the back fence, won't normally go into the mad woman's yard, and just loves to sit in the sun on the front steps of the other neighbour. I suspect that she is so friendly that she was enticed into a 'trap', if indeed she was 'trapped'.

She spent all last night cuddled up to my chest, suspect that she didn't really enjoy her 'adventure'... and Bubbles was quiet distressed till Squeak came back home. And I was not happy that she was not home too...
