You have a point there, hilda fish. The baby boom was finished fifty years ago. Why are we still called "boomers"? We are no longer booming. We boomed a long time ago. We are, in fact, the residue of the baby boom in the same way that universal background radiation is the residue of the big bang. We should be called "baby boomeds".
