Paul in HUll, I have a friend, born and raised in NYC who comes from a Puerto Rican background. When she turned 16, her parents sent her to PR for the summer to live with her "aunties" who taught her all kinds of domestic things. Her tutelage included how to iron ALL clothing, including her underpants, which she and her daughters do to this day!
