It was the insurance company that insisted on a guard dog because of the nature of the bears' ownership.... bet they're rethinking that one!
The report I read in the Metro free paper has a bit more info. Bearing (sorry) in mind whose teddy it was... what do you think the 'rogue scent' could have been....?
