I asked this question some six months ago without success. I'm trying again.

"Jock and Tammie went to sea" is a poem not a song. It starts with;

Jock and Tammie went to Sea in a wee bit fishing boat.

The gist of it is that they run into a storm that gets steadily worse. It gets so bad that Jock starts praying to God that they get back to shore safely. He starts repenting all sins. It finishes with;

.......I'll even promise to drink no more, Hold on, Hold on there Jocky boy, I think I see the shore.

It's a hoot. Obviously I don't know the words in the middle. Can anyone help me out?
