Some people just like to practice character assassination on Jimmy Carter because he's on "the wrong side of the aisle", that's all. They have no such problem with luminaries like Reagan or Bush or Margaret Thatcher, for some mysterious reason. ;-)

That's called "being partisan", and most of us are. If the weather was that predictable, we wouldn't need a weatherman (to know which way the wind blows).
