A small portion of the nation of Egypt is in south-western Asia.

However, the majority of that nation is located in the continent of Africa.

As to why it bothers me that some folks find all sorts of reasons to disconnect Egypt with the continent of Africa, I suppose you can figure that out without me going even more off topic in this thread. And if you can not, that's another topic for another thread.
