Thread Name: BS: Inspector Morse - what happened?
Subject: BS: Inspector Morse - what happened?
I was watching an episode of Inspector Morse on the PBS station from Philadelphia last night. It was the episode about the murder of two heirs to a beer brewery. Everyone associated with them seemed to have a reason to be guilty. Morse finally narrowed it down to an employee named Victor Preese. Morse goes to Preese's home to speak with him, Preeses mother answers the door and let's Morse in. She asks why he's there. Morse replies "I think you know" AND THE DAMNED SIGNAL CUTS OUT111 I TURN TO THE NEWYORK PUBLIC TV STATION, BUT THEY'RE SHOWING SOME CRAP ABOUT THE BLUE MAN GROUP. THERE'S ABOUT FIVE MINUTES OR MORE TO LEFT FOR THE PROGRAM, LONG ENOUGH FOR THERE TO BE A TWIST ENDING. TWENTY MINUTES LATER, THE STATION IS STILL OFF THE AIR!!
So, did anyone ever see that episode? Was it Victor or his overprotective mother who did it? Or someone else? This is killing me. I started out the evening watching Alias on DVD, the last episode of the fourth season, Michael Vaughn is about to reveal to Sydney that he isn't Michael Vaughn and there's an ulterior motive to everything he's done for the last four seasons of the show, and WHAM, they get hit by a truck. I have to wait at least a year for the next season to come out on DVD. And then Inspector Morse is brought down by a bad signal. It was a very exciting and ultimately dissappointing night of TV.
Any help with the Insp. Morse episode will be greatly appreciated.
