I was aware that there is someone handy who can parse out the Shakespeare plays and quote some good poetry. But I don't know much of the story, and I turned it off so I wouldn't spoil the end for myself.

I must say that they did a very good job of using what we already know about Lewis and knew about Morse to get us "where we live." I had expectations about his trip to the graveyard with the flowers, and found myself suddenly in tears at the realization of what it was about. How's that for putting in a cliffhanger after the fact, years after the original series ended? But enough said, I don't want to be a spoiler for someone who hasn't seen it either.
