Not only does the new Jane Marple lack the depths of Joan Hickson's portrayal, but mixing up two series (Tommy and Tuppence, delightfully played by Francesca Annis and James Warwick in an old series) in one was a stupid idea. Greta Scacchi is a great actress, but she is lost in the ridiculous scripts as well as Geraldine McEwan.

Has the Taggert series played on any of the PBS stations? A very good detective series, now on DVD.
