You Don't--1967 My favorite recording of that was by one Damita Jo, tho' I think others had more popular renditions Tom Dooley was 1958/59? I recall it being popular about the time I went back to college after dropping out...er, I mean after taking a hiatus mid-way through my Fresman year. Much better phrasing. Much better.
