There was a dead peccadillo on the road this morning, a big sucker. The school bus in front of us had to go around it, and I could see the driver gesturing to the children to "cover your eyes" as they drove past it. (They didn't all do as he asked and I'm sure those young sprouts are going to have some interesting questions for their parents and teachers today. I, of course, explained in clearly and succinctly to my 14-year-old son who was with me and already had a good working knowledge of what he was viewing.)
