That is why folkies advertise in Sing Out and not in Jet or heavy metal magazine.    We call it demographics, or advertising, or some other name, but it is all profiling.

When 80 year old granmothers and hassidic rabbi's start blowing up planes, we will start profiling them.   Right now extremist Muslims have the manopoly on terrorism.    El Al has profiled for 30 years and has never had a hijacking.   

That is slam dunk evidence that profiling works.   Anyone with a double digit or higher IQ would get that.

Bill O'Reilly poll last night on profiling- 98% of public supports it and 2% against it.   (O'Reilly is now heard in over 40 countries so it is not just an American position)   Most pinheads will dismiss anything from FOX, but a 98% to 2% is the biggest margin in any of their polls.    The people have spoken.
