My friend has a cocker spaniel and he is the most annoying dog you ever could meet. HUGE separation issues (she can't even leave the room without him freaking out), hates kids, hates other dogs...very obnoxious. Granted, though, she is at fault for much of this behavior. He hasn't gotten nippy yet, but I hear that happens when they get older.
