Last night Mr. & Mrs. Scarecrow crossed the island to Brodick to see and hear Aly Bain and Phil Cunningham. We knew what to expect, but the virtuosity, joy, warmth and humour still blew us away. Mr. C's tall stories are among the best.
The gig was promoted by a new face in Arran music, who's working hard to bring known names and high-quality folk and blues acts to the island.
