We need to celebrate Moonglow's birthday also, but I won't be abandoning you for any fancy-schmancy hotel, MOM. We're waiting until next weekend and then we'll do something to celebrate my birthday as well (she was born exactly one week ahead of mine. I almost used the pronoun "me," but then that would imply that my daughter was born a week before my birth. A tough thing to do, under any circumstances.)
