I have spent a number of summers visiting arran and there most certainly is a healthy folk scene.The sessions are at different locations, and tend to be more frequent during the summer.There is a regular Thursday night session at the Eden Bar , Whiting bay, in the summer that is particularly friendly and very enjoyable.
