I'm sure part of the reason he was allowed on the plane was that he has a thick southern accent and really does look the part of an insurance salesman. But of course there is home grown terrorism too - look at Timothy Mcveigh. LH has a point, but I just find it mind boggling how the "official line" is so strict and in reality there are just so many exceptions and loopholes. I'm still shocked they let the guy fly with no ID whatsoever.
