Never mind the smoking, what about the owner of the house, sometimes shown from hem-level down, with distinctly 'coloured' legs, and a deep-South vice saying:
"Thomas, is dat you in de ice-box again dere Thomas?

Definitely non-PC

I think either continue to show them uncut, or show only those episodes which the small-minded PC brigade do not find offensive.

I can just imagine the playground result:
"Psst, wanna buy a DVD of the banned Tom & Jerry cartoons?"
