I wish there was one answer for all autistic children. But my guess is that you will need to look at each one as an individual.Many autistic kids have very sensitive hearing. Not only to volume but to specific frequencies and tones.

Are you planning on individual lessons or teaching them in a group situation? I would think you would have better results with one on one lessons. Keep us posted.
