I'm sorry, but I have to correct my numbers (I had misread Wikipedia). All Tamil groups together are responsible for more than 200 suicide attacks and the 76 - 168 estimate is the estimate for one single group, the Black Tigers.

So what Foolestroupe has posted is correct whether one looks for the specific group with the most attacks or respectively groups "Palestinians" and "Tamil Tigers". I apologise for my mistake.

All Arab suicide attacks (irrespective of country) together however now surpass the record by the Tamils.
