Problem is the "Bush plan" is the "War on Terror". It will never be "over"--therefore never "work".

And what's more, he's responsible for quite a bit of the anti-Western attitude now seen in terror attacks all over the world. If you read virtually any article with quotes by angry Moslems, the Iraq war is almost always cited.   Bush's war--unnecessary, his war by choice, and only supported by the US public due to a despicable propaganda campaign his regime used to stoke war fever and justify the attack on Iraq.

And by doing so he squandered the good will of most of the world--which had even supported the Afghanistan campaign--e.g. the French--and a good many US liberals.
