Thread Name: hopefull songs
Subject: RE: hopefull songs
Hi all

jen and rastrelnikov I checked out the Green Grow the Rashe's O, and it looks like it's filling in nicely with a song I had in mind (or the intention,) execpt I'm having trouble understanding someof the words (the older ones I think) like warldly. I looked them up in the dictionary, but I couldn't find them (maybe I'm being unusually dense here-I blame it on being dutch!) The second verse you posted maked sense though, and I like it. Susan-Marie I think that likewise my celtic(?) is a bit rusty, so I do appreciate the translation, hey, if we keep this up, I've only got two more song-slots to fill! i"d really appreciate the other verses though

now, all I need is a song for when the lad is in prison, I've heard one that I like but I'm not sure of the whole text. It goes like "a stranger here, a stranger there a stranger everywhere I'd go home, but brother I'm a stranger there" however, I do not know if this si the begin, end or middle of a song!

Ok, and i need one good-bye-ish song, when the gall's leaving. Thanks again

Selene PS, any names for post-apocalyptic baddies are also welcome, as well as a name for a smart feisty young lady (brunette)
