Writing fiction will certainly pay off college bills for a fictional character. My suggestion, however, is that you make this Hesperis character a little less whiney and just somewhat less pathetic. It's almost at the point where I, as a reader, say "Who cares?". Throw in a good high every once in a while and then do your typical great job of crashing down. It's sure keeping my interest. You are a much better character then the Martin Gibson abrasive one created by somebody else. Yes, whoever youare, you certainly have a future as a writer.
