My sister was involved with a former member of the Chicago Latin Queens, the ladies auxilliary of the Chicago Latin Kings. I kept my own counsel even when said former queen was arrested for riding a stolen motorcycle. I kept silent when she slashed my sister's tires. Because NOBODY has ever been able to tell my sister anything.
But I did not belong to, nor am I in sympathy with, any street gang. They just aren't my kind of people. And I am a FLAMING heterosexual.
