btw an earlier Diodorus (Diodorus Siculus 90 BC– c. 30 BC) was a Greek historian who wrote forty books, describing the ancient world of his time, and his travels through Egypt,Mesopotamia, India, Scythia, Arabia, North Africa, Greece and Europe.

In his writings Diodorus described an early matriarchal society in which women were the judges, warriors and merchants and men stayed home doing the housework and minding the children. He is quoted in "the Paradise papers" by Merlin Stone as part of her argument that there were once matriarchal Goddess-worshipping societies.
