The non-music or 'BS' section was basically formed so that the lighter, more amusing threads could be housed in a safe and secure environment where they wouldn't leak contaminants (or "humour") in to the more serious music threads. It's only in the last 8-12 months or so that the political stuff has outnumbered the other BS and I'm pretty sick of it. However, I solve that by just not opening any political thread and just leave them to get knotted.
