I think the seperation as it is works fine, especially for newcomers, who after all usually find Mudcat because they are looking for music. If the music threads were all mixed in with the community fun and games, it would be a nightmare for a new person trying to find anything useful. If you want to read the BS conversations, it's easy enough to do so (and most will).
