I dunno ... sometimes I think we get all too worked up over the instrument ... after all it is the musician that makes them sing .. my nephew showed up at our doorstep a couple of years ago on his way to Halifax ... he is an accomplished guitarist in his own right .. he had an old beatup Alvarez .. he had a filed down golf tee holding in the 'B' string, that made me shrug when I first noticed it ... regardless when he played that guitar sung ever so sweetly.
